I don’t know the history of Panerai’s decision to introduce a Submersible line, but I always thought it interesting since Panerais are fundamentally dive watches to begin with. I’m assuming the decision came with their entry into the commercial / civilian

There is no such thing as a bad time to wear a dive watch!

Dealer showrooms are generally well suited for wristshots with tall ceilings and plenty of spotlights playing with the submersible domed sapphire. The 24 and 25 bezel eats jacket liners like no other of my watches, merciless. Have good weekend!

Not really suitable for diving,but a leather strap definitely changes the look of the watch !! Best, Gerard

I was going to wear the Doxa, but this spoke to me instead. Panerai Navy SEAL, looking south and west towards Kako’olawe.

I like the looks of the camo, but the strap is rigid and not particularly soft, which makes it sit up on my wrist. This orange Panerai rubber strap allows the watch to lay flat on my wrist. Anyone else have this issue? Panerai Navy SEAL
